I have always understood that Martin Luther King started a movement that was huge.  I studied him as a kid.  I was sad for the why the Colored people where Treated.

The thing is even with all that studying.  I never understood how much injustice was placed on the people that stood for something much bigger then any of us. Imagine being spit on, cursed at, or even worse.

MLK Jr believed in keeping peace will standing for FREEDOM.  Yet one day outside a hotel on a second  floor balcony he had his life taken.

Do to this event in America’s History. Whites and blacks United and stood for equal rights.   They seat on busses together (not by color). The also seat in at lunch counter, which lead to people being kicked, murdered and spoke to with words I can’t say without great anger.  It was the worst treatment and  persuasion American has ever experienced.
I hear people complain of the hate and dislike of today.   It does not compare to that of MLK Jr’s time.

If there was not men and women that stood for injustice.  Joshua and I would not be married.    We would not have Ava or been able to adopt Gracelyn.    I would also not be able to have a amazing black side of the family.
