“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23:4‬ ‭NIV‬

Many would let the news of today shatter them.  I may have let it shatter me when I was weaker in my faith. I have personally learned that through every valley, God has been right by my side.  I know that this time will be no different.

A few months ago I went in for a routine check. Due to my medical history, she wanted a blood density test done.  Once the test came back the doctor referenced me to a Rheumatologist. I could not get into the one they wanted so I spent some time looking for one.  I had to send them the referral.  Two and half months I waited.  Anxiety and giving it to God.

Today was that big appointment.  I had Joshua go with me.  The doctor asked me tons of questions.  Then we talked about my results.  The news was not what a 36 year old mom of two wants to hear.  I have severe osteoporosis. Normal treatment options are not an option.  She said they will not be effective. I need to grow back the bone I have loss. The two best options are both injections.  Her top choice is a daily injection that I would take for two years.  This is the choice we are opting to do.  Now it is a waiting game to see how much insurance will cover.
