This morning was like every other morning.  Controlled mayham is the real description.  We have started having Ava wake to an alarm.  She is 9 yr old.  Yet moments before that I was late in the let our night nurse go home. Grils asleep I let the side of Gracelyns bed down.  This morning was a little different in that Ava woke up singing.   She got out of bed and started getting ready with no issues.  While till I used the girls bathroom. That kinda missed up the bathroom flow. Heading in to get Gracelyn’s cloths together I find her still sleeping.  I wake her and the myham starts.

The mayham starts with Gracelyn fighting to get out of bed.  All while Ava is singing in the bathroom.  Just making Grace more cranky.  Finally getting her to move from her bed she heads to the potty only to refuse to take off a wet pull up.  Finally get it off and she does not want to go potty.   Get on and what does she do? Yep you guessed it.  On to remaining tasks.   Not without more major convincing.  Breakfast time is always myham.  Ava gets food for herself.  Gracelyn can make up her mind.  Joshua and I offer her food she does not want. Finally oatmeal it is. Only to not have her eat it.  So we move on to finish up so we can leave for school.  Getting Gracelyn’s brace and Shoes on is a 15 minute process.  Ava is waiting ready to leave and Grace has teeth and jacket to get.  Finally glasses are on, chewy is on, and we are on our way to the Van.  What would this day have been without my happy Ava?   She is a light in the darkness.
