Wow!!!
2025 is already going fast. I am starting to writing this on January 20th, 2025. I am noting this day, because I want to record the events happening in this year of 2025. January 1st came with me recovering from an injury that I got at Christmas Day. I am grateful that the injury was not worse then is was. I also learned that Gracelyns backpack can cause issues when on the back of a chair. I got up to tell the waitress my mom’s birthday. She said they could help celebrate. I came to seat back down, I pushed my chair back a little and as I seat down the chair went back. As I seat down I came down on two legs of the chair. My one arm came down on my arm pit and the other went flat and missed up my shoulder. My shoulder is felling okay for the most part. That’s how I entered the new year.
Joshua has been at the same Job for four years. WOW!!!. He works for home when he is not traveling. Last year ended with him traveling a ton. He has already traveled this year. This company he works for has told him that the amount of travel is increasing this year. As we are in March we have been lucky Josh has been working from home. He was able to have the time to finish my dinning room table. The one that has been a true labor and tension of love. The table is beautiful and shows his dedication to how hard of a worker he is.
Ava’s growing up too fast. I feel like I am losing my little girl. I know I say that a lot. She is in her junior year and doing taking dual credit classes thought ORU. I see how hard she works to make sure that keeps her grades up. She has been keeping a 4.0 all year. Josh and I could not be more proud. Then add this year seems even harder with talks of college and what she wants for her future. Ava is getting all into skin care that is natural for your skin. It seems like every time we go to the mall see wants to go to Sephora. She is into Dior, Summer Friday and other beauty brands. The girl is a Loungefly bag girl she would have more then the eight, I’m not sure if the issue of having not enough space, money or she knows that she has already out numbered the amount of bags I have in my closet. Our tomboy is starting to find the things that make her more grown up everyday.
Gracelyn our Warrior Girl has been loving school this year. She is learning to count to 100. Grace started working with a game/ therapy system called MotusNova Hand. The target goal is 60 minutes a day with the motion, she averages about 20-30 minutes. Gracelyn’s seizures have been increasing again. The doctor don’t really know way. They are increasing her medications. To add to the seizure issues see seems to be having something going on with her GI system. She will need to go through some test to find out what is going on. On a positive note Gracelyn is becoming a master at driving her wheelchair. She is working on using on using a program that helps her express her needs and speak them for her. She is doing great for all the challenges Life throws at her.
Will I may have started writing this January 20th…today on March 3rd I finally finished.
