Many times I have been asked why I am so protective of Gracelyn when it comes to her health. For Me is a simple answer.
She is thriving. The journey to this point is not been without lots work and struggle.
This journey is filled with many moments that cause us to make split second decisions. Some are made over time. But seem very sudden to those around us. Yet in every decision Special Needs families make decisions they are making that decision for the well being of the special needs Child or loved one.
Personally I will do my BEST to protect my beautiful Special needs Daughter. I will also protect my other daughter. I value education. I also highly value my children’s health. It is important to provide and implement health precautions though out everyday. Not just when Child or loved one is with the caregiver.
Many families have had to get nursing for special needs/ medical needs Child. This is do to the fact that schools will not change Diapers or Pull up, medication takes to many loops to jump though. The list goes on.
Personally I know that the choice we made on Tuesday August 29, 2017 was nothing short of a chain of events that brought Joshua and myself to the end of a road. For the Time being both are girls will be getting schooling from home. We would ask you keep you negative to yourself. If you have questions why feel free to message us with them.
